The dawn of 1st November 2018 was welcomed with vibrant colours of Red and Yellow. It was a day to salute our State Karnataka. Variety of programme were exhibited and the talents, creativity of the students were manifested through the programme.

The spirit of Kannada Rajyotsava was seen in true shades.

The programme started with a prayer service. During the prayer service there was a peaceful and serene atmosphere created by the students of VIIIA and VIIIB by singing hymns and reading the scriptures. The crowd and the guests were welcomed through a welcome dance.

The significance of the day was given through a captivity narration by the 2 students. Quiz was conducted.

A skit was enacted where in people of different districts converse with Mother Karnataka and express their difficulties and ask for solution with her.

A comedy skit was enacted by the boys of our school to depict the importance of ‘Knowledge of languages”.

At the end of the programme the whole group of 72 students sang in unison the hymn. “Kannada Thaye Sada Chinmayee”.

The chief guest Tr. Manjula spoke about the importance of the day by singing song in praise of “Mother Karnataka” and through her words of inspiration.

Voice of sentiments of thanks giving was performed by Ashmith Rai. The programme came to an end by singing the sate anthem and national Anthem.
