Feb.05, 2018: “PEACE DAY” held at Ladyhill Victoria Girls High School, Urwa. On this day silence was observed at 11 a.m. and prayers were offered for all the martyrs and peace in our country.
They made a start by invoking gods blessings through a Prayer Service. “Sarvadharma Prayers” Bible reading, Quran and Bhagavadgite Intentions and also followed by Prayer Dance. The students welcomed the gathering through a Melodious song. They enhanced our knowledge by giving us information on Peace Day. It was followed by a Brain Quest to test our knowledge. A video clipping was shown on the topic Patriotism. Right after that they presented a patriotic song. A graceful dance was performed on the song “heal the World” to add humour to the atmosphere a comedy skit was performed. It was followed by a ‘Mime’ which was worth seeing.
Then it was the time for chief guest to give her massage on peace day. They gifted token of love to the chief guest. The programme ended by a wonderful vote of thanks.
